Longarm Quilting Disclaimer

Award-winning floral quilt with geometric patterns in earth tones.

ABOUT US

Your quilter is one person, operating a legal and insured business in the State of Indiana, who quilts by appointment only and does not run a retail quilt shop with fabric.

I do not accept commission requests for a quilt due to time and costs involved. However I have an Etsy Shop where I have some fabric and small quilts for sale. Items in the shop are subject to change and not all quilts are listed. https://countryquiltstudio.etsy.com

QUILTING BY APPOINTMENT

Longarm services are provided by appointment only! I have a very fast turnaround because I do not take quilts until I am ready to do them. My insurance agent tells me I am not in the quilt storage business, and I do not have the space. That means when you are working on a quilt, let me know when you will be finished. I will put you on my calendar and schedule your project. If your time frame changes, let me know as I am usually flexible.

RIGHT TO REFUSE

I HAVE A RIGHT TO REFUSE YOUR PROJECT. Not every project is suited for my services and I may not be the quilter for you. There are  items that may be impossible to quilt without damage to my machine or your item. This includes denim, some embellishments, painted fabric and some items that may be fragile. You may want something done with your quilt that I am not comfortable doing, and I will be honest with you about whether or not my skills will enhance your project. I do not work with "Minkee" or "Cuddle" type fabrics as I find them fussy and messy.

MECHANICAL DISCLAIMER

A longarm quilting machine is a big, expensive sewing machine that stitches thousands of stitches per minute. My APQS does 3500 stitches per minute. There is a small risk of damage to your quilt top or back due to mechanical failure. A new needle is used for each project and the machine is thoroughly cleaned between quilts. Lint is wiped out frequently. We do use a CyberPower Intelligent LCD Battery Backup Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) System to protect against voltage fluctuations.
